Who we are
JackpotCityCasinos.io ("we", "us") is an independent information website about Jackpot City Casino for Canadian readers. We are not the casino and we do not operate any gambling service. You can reach us at [email protected].
Information we collect
We collect as little as possible. This site has no user accounts, no sign-up forms and no comment sections.
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a limited period by the host.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply and keep a record of the conversation.
Cookies and analytics
We currently do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If that changes — for example, if we add privacy-friendly visitor statistics — we will update this page before doing so and, where required, ask for your consent.
Links to the casino and affiliate tracking
Buttons such as "Visit Jackpot City" send you through our /go/ address to a third-party affiliate tracking link and then to the casino's website. That redirect tells the tracking service and the casino that you arrived from this site, so a commission can be credited if you sign up. The tracking service and the casino may set their own cookies and collect information under their own privacy policies, which we don't control. Please read the casino's privacy policy before creating an account. More about how this works is in our affiliate disclosure.
We also link to other external sites, such as helplines and regulators. Their privacy practices are their own.
How we use and share information
We use the limited information above only to run and secure the website and to respond to messages. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except service providers who help us run the site (such as our hosting provider) or where the law requires it.
Your rights in Canada
Canada's federal private-sector privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), gives you the right to know what personal information an organization holds about you, to ask for it to be corrected, and to complain if you think it has been mishandled. To make a request, email us at the address above. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This site is intended only for adults of legal gambling age in their province (19+, or 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Security and retention
The site is served over HTTPS. We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and rely on our host's standard retention periods for server logs.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
